Sound Circle Center's Teacher Training program prepares students to practice Waldorf education in early childhood and grade school environments. Through an intensive 25-month format that integrates Anthroposophical Foundation studies, students are immersed in the theory and practice of Waldorf education. The curriculum is designed to be both transformative and practical, blending online coursework with in-person summer intensives at locations like the Whatcom Hills Waldorf School. Guided by experienced faculty, students engage in artistic practice, collaborative learning, and hands-on mentorship. This holistic approach ensures that graduates are not only well-prepared and confident to work with children but also emerge as self-aware educators equipped to guide students on their life journeys. The program culminates in the capacity to create lively, engaging lessons and nurturing classroom environments that honor the developmental stages of childhood.
