The Management Information Systems (MIS) major integrates business, technology, and artificial intelligence to prepare students for careers at the intersection of data, systems, and decision-making. Students learn how organizations use data, analytics, and AI-enabled technologies to solve problems, improve processes, and gain competitive advantage. Coursework spans data management, cybersecurity, software development, business analytics, and applied AI, with an emphasis on understanding both how intelligent systems work and how to use them responsibly in business contexts. Graduates are prepared to analyze business needs, design and implement technology-driven solutions, and work confidently in AI-enabled organizations.
