Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) Program

Pro Care Academy of Washington ETPL
This course provides basic understanding and skills required for nursing assistants in today's healthcare settings. There are multiple learning opportunities with comprehensive lecture, hands-on practice and supportive learning environments. Focus includes basic adult and geriatric care and introduction to pediatric care, and meets all Washington State and OBRA requirements. Nursing assistants who are certified are eligible to work in a variety of healthcare settings including long term care, hospitals, rehabilitation, home health, and medical clinics. Many healthcare professional programs such as nursing, paramedic and physician assistant schools require students to have some experience and/or training as a nursing assistant prior to program acceptance.

Employment performance results

Data is unavailable for one of several reasons: In some cases, the institution has not provided the Workforce Board with data to independently evaluate program performance. We encourage all schools to provide this data on an annual basis. In other cases, the program joined Career Bridge recently and student data has not been reported yet. In other cases, the program is too small or too new to provide reliable results.
