This program is designed to give nursing care in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. Certification allows studnets to participate in nursing fuctions which require short-term preparation and to practice nursing within a limited range of situations. Upon completion of this program, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) and eligible to apply to colleges and universities for additional study in nursing.
