Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Applicants shall be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to perform the rigorous manual labor required by the trade, with or without reasonable accommodations, and have a natural ability to work safely at high elevations. Physical ability must be confirmed by attending a minimum qualification screening day or verification of prior work experience in the Sheet Metal or related industry, as determined by the Committee. Prior to completing the application all applicants must submit copies of a valid Washington States driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance. The required documents must be uploaded on the www.wwsmjatc.org website prior to completing the apprenticeship application.
