Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Minimum of 18 years. High School Diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in a high school. Must be able to meet the requirements of the trade with or without reasonable accommodations. Must meet the requirements of No Child Left Behind Act of 2001/ESSA 2015; 72 credits from an Institution of Higher Education; Associates (or higher) Degree; Formal Assessment; ETS Para Pro Assessment. Paraeducator Portfolio. School District Paraeducator Assessment. Complete a WA State Registered Apprenticeship in an occupation approved by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.Is this program approved to train veterans?
