Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Must be 18 years of age. Must be high school graduate or equivalent (GED) and have successfully completed one year of high school algebra or post secondary algebra course with a grade C or better. Must be able to perform work of the trade. Must provide copy of birth certificate. Provide an official transcript for high school graduation, and all GED records must be submitted if applicable. Show evidence of successful completion of one full year of high school algebra or one post high school algebra course.
