Blueprint Reading Basics

Everett Community College
This course will familiarize the student with basic blueprint reading techniques. We will cover projections, section cuts, section views and detailed views. We will also cover dimension and tolerance as well as assemblies breakdown. Student will learn how to determine whether to accept/reject manufactured items per given dimensions. Six classroom hours plus 6 hours web simulation access for independent practice and review. Prerequisite: Shop Math course or equivalent experience helpful.
