All of the trainings within the Clerical Customer Service Program housed in Auburn offer students the opportunity to gain skills for employment in the clerical and / or customer service-related field of employment and a chance to enhance their employment core competencies, also known as soft skills. During the student's time in the program, they will learn about themselves through on-going comprehensive skills and assessment evaluations. Classes are three hours in length, five days per week. Training components involve computer-based learning, one-to-one and small group instruction, reinforcement exercises, project work, instructional readings, interactive lessons, videos, and occasional homework. Non-software-based trainings include: Instructional readings. Reinforcement exercises. Project work. Videos. Customer Service. All students have the option of receiving a daily stipend during training of $5/day.
