In addition to developing skill sets in prospecting, qualifying, presenting, overcoming objections, and closing the sale, students will have knowledge of the aspects of marketing, visual promotion, and small business planning. The credential is designed to step to the Associate in Business, which means students can earn the certificate, obtain a job in the field, and then continue working toward the Associate in Business degree to increase their skills and promotability. Students planning to transfer to a four year program should work closely with an advisor.
