Emergency Medical Technician

Wenatchee Valley College ETPL
Learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency medical technician according to National EMS Education standards and requirements. Develop skills in patient evaluation and other emergency medical procedures. Upon successful completion, students are eligible for National Registry Exam to qualify for state certification after meeting the Washington state requirement of employment. Note: Conviction of certain crimes may prevent completion of the clinical class requirements of the program and may prevent future licensure and employment in health care. A criminal record check is required prior to any clinical training experience or clinical field trips. Students who have a criminal record must meet with the WVC Dean of Allied Health to determine if the criminal history would prevent access to a health care facility. Call 509-682-6660 for more information.
