The Associate of Nursing degree is designed for students who want to complete their prerequisites and nursing training at the community college level. After finishing the program, graduates are eligible to test to earn the Registered Nurse (RN) credential, and transfer to a university to complete the last 45 credits towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Criminal and federal fraud background checks, health insurance, immunizations and successful completion of 37-40 credits of prerequisite coursework (see website for specific classes). Application to the Nursing program is very competitive and acceptance is required for admission.
