This is a competitive entry program. The first three quarters are general education courses and students will start their first quarter of respiratory therapy specific courses in their fourth quarter at SCC unless they transfer the appropriate courses in. Students must apply and their application will only be considered after completing the following courses with a 2.5 minimum grade in each: BIOL& 160 General Biology with Lab; BIOL& 241 Human A&P I; BIOL& 242 Human A&P II; BIOL& 260 Microbiology; CMST 227 Intercultural Communication; CHEM& 121 Introduction to Chemistry with Lab; ENGL& 101 English Composition I; ENGL& 235 Technical Writing; MATH& 146 Introduction to Statistics.Is this program approved to train veterans?
