The program works with modern technologies and programming languages. The program exposes students to technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Website Design, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP/Laravel, Android/Kotlin and DBMS/SQL. The program also allows students to develop soft skills in agile development, project management and job preparation techniques. The software development program trains students in current web and desktop application development using diverse industry technologies. Software development is an evolving field of study requiring continuing education and the ability to adapt to constant change. Graduates from this program acquire problem solving skills, are encouraged to work independently and as a team, and be ethical in all interactions. This degree includes the following certificates: Computer Science, Frontend Developer, Full Stack Developer, Mobile Developer, PHP Developer and Web Design. If students would like to continue their education, this degree transfers into our four year bachelor's of applied science (BAS) in DevOps. Other options include our Cloud Computing, and Computer Network, Design, and Administration degrees.
