Associate Degree Nursing

Seattle Central College ETPL
The Nursing Program offers an associate of applied science degree with a two-year curriculum designed to prepare registered nurses. The program is approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, and is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. It includes general education courses, nursing theory, lab, and clinical practice courses. Students have the choice of attaining an associate of applied science degree or an associate of applied science transfer degree, depending upon their selection of classes. Graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX examination and apply for a license as a registered nurse in Washington State. Seven hours of HIV/AIDS education, which is required for licensure, is integrated into the nursing curriculum. New students are accepted into the six-quarter program each fall.
