Renton Technical College ETPL
This program teaches student how to work on modern automobiles. It covers all aspects of automotive repair. Students will practice their skills in a state-of-the-art facility. Graduates earn a Washington State Emission Certification and ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certificate. Students also have the opportunity to earn ASE certification in other automotive specialties.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

ACCUPLACER math score of 235 or completion of MATH 065 with a grade of 2.0 or higher. A student with an ACCUPLACER math score of less than 235 may enroll in the first quarter, but must also co-register for BAST 092. High school diploma or GED equivalent recommended. High school level courses in math, science, power, or auto mechanics. Counselor and instructor interview. Hold and maintain a valid driver's license. Insurable to school requirements (good driving record).
