Nursing AA DTA MRP

Peninsula College ETPL
The Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission approves the Peninsula College Nursing Program and is accredited by the Accredidation Commission for Education in Nursing. Students who complete the two-year associate degree program are eligible to take state board exams for registered nurses. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in applied and social sciences and an understanding of the fundamentals of patient care in a variety of settings. Throughout the program students integrate experience caring for patients in acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community agencies. Successful completion of this program leads to an Associate in Nursing DTA/MRP. Students with the Nursing DTA/MRP need only to complete senior level courses at select Universities in the state of Washington to achieve a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Courses transfer as defined by the Associate in Nursing DTA/MRP agreement. Students who plan to transfer to a four-year program should review the Universities’ requirements for senior-year standing in the Bachelor of Applied nursing program.
