Multimedia Communications Graphics
The multimedia communications graphics program prepares students for entry level employment in a variety of multimedia careers including graphic design, digital photography, developing material for websites and designing for print publications. Foundation courses will provide individuals with hands-on experience using a number of multimedia and content development software applications. Core courses will teach students an understanding of visual communications and provide a strong foundation of multimedia concepts and skills. Capstone courses offer a unique opportunity for students to interact with local businesses and clients while creating a collective portfolio of student work. Successful completion of the two-year program leads to an Associate of Applied Science-Transfer degree in Multimedia-Graphics Option. The AAS-T option may improve the transferability of Associate of Applied Science degrees to some four-year programs.
