This program prepares students to provide compassionate care and support to elderly, disabled, recovering, and homebound individuals. Training includes Orientation and Safety Training (5hrs), Core Basic Training (54 Hrs) along with specialty training in mental health (8hrs) and dementia (8hrs). This program fulfills all 75 hours of training required to sit for the Home Care Aide exam in Washington.

After completion, participants will have completed all training hours required to sit for the Home Care Aide exam in Washington State. Passing the exam is required to obtain HCA certification.
