The Medical Office Administrative Support creates and maintains patient medical records, stores and retrieves patient records, and keeps the records up to date through diligent attention to detail. Skill requirements include: medical terminology, basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, diagnosis and procedure coding concentions and rules, critical reading and comprehension skills, patient financial records, oral and written communication, patient financial records, oral and written communication, patient database, ethics, and attention to detail.
