The Home Care Aide 75-Hour Training Program is designed to prepare students for entry-level caregiving employment in home care, long-term care, and community-based healthcare settings. The program includes Fundamentals of Caregiving, Safety and Orientation, Population Specific Training, and Hands-On Skills Training in accordance with Washington State requirements. Instruction includes online learning, classroom instruction, skills practice, competency evaluation, and testing preparation.

English Proficiency Requirement
Applicants must demonstrate sufficient English language proficiency to successfully complete the program. English proficiency may be established by one of the following:
A high school diploma from a school where English is the primary language;
A General Educational Development (GED) certificate completed in English; or
A passing score on the Foundations Healthcare Institute English Language Proficiency Admissions Assessment for applicants who did not complete their secondary education in English.
Applicants who do not satisfy one of the above requirements are not eligible for enrollment until English proficiency has been demonstrated.
