Practical Nursing

Edmonds College ETPL
This program prepares individuals to become licensed practical nurses. Throughout the program, students integrate experience caring for patients in acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community agencies. Graduates receive a certificate in Practical Nursing. After graduation, individuals must take and pass the NCLEX PN examination to be licensed by the state as a practical nurse. Licensed graduates are qualified for employment as entry-level staff in long-term care facilities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home care agencies.

Careers for graduates

Data is unavailable for one of several reasons: In some cases, the institution has not provided the Workforce Board with data to independently evaluate program performance. We encourage all schools to provide this data on an annual basis. In other cases, the program joined Career Bridge recently and student data has not been reported yet. In other cases, the program is too small or too new to provide reliable results.
