Airport Ground Support Equipment Certificate

South Seattle Community College

South’s Ground Support Equipment Certificate program is the first publicly offered program of its kind in the United States. Students learn to maintain and repair airport ground support equipment used to service and support aircraft while they are on the tarmac, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The certificate is offered through our Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology program, which has strong industry ties including partnerships with the Port of Seattle, Port Jobs and Airport University, Paccar, Peterbilt Motors Company and Kenworth Truck Company.
