Mechatronics Control & Drives Integration Specialist Certificate

This is a one-year certification program designed for both the new student entering the field of Mechatronics and for the current employee who wishes to learn more about the knowledge and skills currently in demand by employers.

The certificate aims to prepare students for in-demand careers in advanced manufacturing, specifically in roles involving industrial automation, mechatronics, and electrical systems integration.

Employers need technicians who can wire, configure, and troubleshoot systems that integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with AC motor drives and mechanical drive components. The ability to work across electrical and mechanical domains-specifically PLC-to-VFD communication, motion control, and drive systems.

Entry into the program at any time is possible on a space-available basis with instructor’s permission.
