Upon successful completion of the program and passing the Washington State certification examination, participants are eligible to obtain the Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) credential issued by the Washington State Department of Health, which qualifies them to work as certified nursing assistants in healthcare settings throughout Washington State.

Certification/license test preparation provided

The Training Fund Nursing Assistant Program prepares students to take the Washington State Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) examination. Students receive instruction, skills practice, hands-on lab training, and clinical experience aligned with the knowledge and competencies assessed on the state certification exam. The program also includes exam preparation activities designed to help students successfully complete both the written and skills portions of the NAC certification test.
