Behavioral & Social Services: Substance Use Disorder Studies

Lake Washington Institute of Technology ETPL

The Substance Use Disorder Studies certificate is for students who have already completed sufficient general educational requirements for a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) license yet still need specific SUD course-related coursework. The certificate prepares students for work as licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainees and licensed Substance Use Disorder Professionals. This program is designed for individuals with some higher education already completed. This program is available entirely online, with both synchronous and asynchronous courses. This program is intended to serve students in the current LWTech service area, students seeking an entirely online academic program in the SUD field, and students without geographical access to similar SUD certificates.
