The Kinesiology and Exercise Science AAS-T degree provides an in-depth, applied education that prepares students for employment in the health and fitness field beyond entry-level certificates. Students study human movement, exercise science, and wellness coaching while gaining hands-on experience in fitness assessment, athletic training principles, and personal training practice through laboratory work and internship opportunities. The program is designed to support healthy human functioning among general health-seeking populations and athletes in settings such as fitness centers, community health programs, and performance training facilities.
