Opportunities for paraeducators have increased and are predicted to continue growing. Highline College's degree program will prepare you for this fulfilling career where you can work in a variety of inclusive settings such as schools and park and recreation programs. At Highline, you'll participate in a diverse program including activity-based learning, small group work, observation, and field-based practicum that includes the 14 Washington State Core Competencies and is based on the Washington State paraeducator skill standards.
