In this five-course certificate program, we'll explore the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of wetlands and their many functions. You'll become familiar with different classification and sampling methods. We'll investigate the complex land-use laws that apply to wetlands and affect their management and protection. We'll also examine the processes and considerations involved in restoration work.
