Apprenticeship is one of the best ways for a worker to acquire the experience and training needed to get established in a career. Columbia Basin College, in conjunction with labor unions, offers nine registered apprenticeship programs. Upon completion of a prescribed program of technical classes and on-the-job training, the worker receives a completion certificate and is recognized as a Journeyman nationwide.
