Construction Industry Training Council of Washington
This course combines in-class learning, self-paced study, and hands-on lab work. It uses the National Glazier Association online course curriculum as its foundation, providing a detailed overview of essential codes and standards, practical insights into various applications, and expert guidance on selecting appropriate glazing products. Participants will learn to understand and apply relevant regulations, identify suitable glazing products for different projects, ensure compliance with safety and performance standards, and make informed decisions in material selection. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in the dynamic field of glass and glazing. Special emphasis will be placed on jobsite safety requirements. Scheduled dates may be adjusted at the instructor’s discretion.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

CITC students are required to have their own a laptop or tablet computer with video, audio, camera, microphone, and wireless network access with them on their fist day of class. It is crucial that students have the required textbooks and class materials by the first day of class. Students will be instructed on how to purchase the required e-text(s) on the first day of class. To purchase the stand alone NCCERConnect with e-text, students will need a Course ID #. Course ID will be provided by the course instructor. CITC Instructor will provide the Course ID no later than the first day of class.Students are expected to purchase the required e-texts during the first day of class. Prerequisite: Glaziers 203
