This program provides comprehensive training in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks (forklifts) in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)standards. The course includes both classroom instruction and hands-on training to ensure participants understand safety principles, equipment operation, and workplace hazard awareness. Students will learn proper load handling, equipment inspection, stability principles, and safe operating procedures. The program also includes a practical skills evaluation to assess each participants ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an OSHA-compliant Forklift Operator Certification, verifying that they have met the required training and evaluation standards. This certification is recognized by employers and is valid for three years, with re-evaluation required as needed.
