Mammography

Columbia Basin College ETPL
The Mammography short-term program is designed to prepare Radiologic Technologists certified by the AART in Radiography (R.T.(r)) in the specialized emerging area of mammography. Lecture, lab, and academic coursework are offered to prepare students for the advanced level certification exam offered by the ARRT in Mammography. Lab time is scheduled with live models and modern mammography equipment to facilitate competency development in positioning for mammography exams. The course will exceed the 40 hours required by certification and accrediting bodies for employment as a Mammographer.
