- High school diploma or equivalent (or ability to benefit)
- Must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English sufficient to safely complete coursework and clinical training;
- Must be 18 years old;
- Background check required through the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, and must pass criminal background clearance for working with vulnerable adults;
- TB Test Clearance, Immunizations (required for Clinical Practicum/Training - MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Flu vaccine - seasonal, Covid-19 (facility dependent)
- Proof of being physically able to perform CNA duties (lifting > 50 lbs, standing, sitting, etc.);
- Current CPR /BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Drug Screening (Required by many nursing homes)
- Social Security Number/Work Authorization
