Admission Requirements:Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement established by the school and the State of Washington. Applicants must hold a current and valid Washington State professional license in the applicable field (Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, or Nail Technology) and meet the required work experience as defined by Washington State regulations. Applicants must complete the school’s enrollment agreement, provide a government-issued photo ID, and submit proof of licensure prior to enrollment. Students must be able to meet the attendance, academic, and instructional practice requirements of the program.

The Instructor Program includes preparation for the Washington State Instructor licensing examination. Test preparation includes instruction in teaching methodology, lesson planning, classroom management, state laws and rules, theory review, and supervised instructional practice designed to prepare students for the written and practical components of the licensing examination.
