The Entry Level Dental Assistant Program (DA100-DE) is a 12-week hybrid program designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in dental practices. The program combines online asynchronous instruction with hands-on clinical and laboratory training at a fully equipped dental office. Students complete 120 clock hours of instruction via 4 hours of online coursework and 6 hours of on-site clinical training per week. It is also expected that students will dedicate an additional 4-8 hours per week for homework, online research, or assignments provided by the instructor. Graduates gain foundational knowledge in infection control, chairside assisting, dental radiography, dental materials, office emergencies, and patient communication. The program emphasizes professionalism, safety, and real-world clinical readiness. Upon successful completion, students receive a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to apply for registration as a Dental Assistant in Washington State.
