Prepares the student for employment as a Nursing Assistant functioning under the supervision of professional licensed providers such as Registered Nurse. The student must successfully complete classroom theory, nursing laboratory and unit based clinical instruction. The integrated/nursing assistant program combines basic skills. Upon completion of this course the student will be eligible to sit for the State Certification Examination - the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Exam (NNAAP).
