Human Services: Chemical Dependency

Students are introduced to basic concepts related to chemical dependency, its prevention and treatment, and helping individuals with problems associated with chemical dependency. Students will participate in both classroom instruction and a community-based internship experience with a local chemical dependency services provider. Students are primarily responsible for choosing their own internship placement and primarily eligible for employment in the area in which they choose and complete their internship experience.
