At Vital Healthcare we provide training and education to prepare students for nursing assistant certification through the Washington State Department of Health. Our 4 week course is designed to meet the objectives for standard of practice and competencies for nursing assistants according to the Washington State Administration Code. Vital Healthcare Training 4 week course covers standards of practice and competencies including skills and knowledge as well as observable, measurable behaviors in the following areas; Basic technical skills, personal skills, mental health and social service needs, care of cognitively impaired residents, basic restorative services, client or residents rights and promotion of independence, communication and interpersonal skills, infection control, safety and emergency procedures and rules and regulation knowledge.
