Welcome to West Coast College of Dental Assisting (WCCODA), we are delighted that you have chosen WCCODA to provide you with expert training in the field of Dental Assisting. WCCODA is a career school that is focused entirely on the training of students to fulfill a role in the working world as a Dental Assistant. It is part of the WCCODA philosophy that learning is best accomplished by doing. Emphasis is placed on personal one-on-one instruction in the Lab. Students will begin handling instruments and performing procedures from the very first day in class. Lecture will be given each day to reinforce what was learned in the lab as well as preparation for testing. Terminology tests will be given weekly. A Theory test will be given at the completion of each subject per unit with an overall test covering all subjects as a final to complete the unit. Scores under 80% will be considered fail and will require a makeup test.
